Empowering Junior/Senior Prefects – Weliweriya Kanishta Vidyalaya
Youth Empowerment
Hosted a full one-day leadership enhancing programme for 120 junior/senior prefects of the Weliweriya area on 15 Aug 2025. To improve the leadership skills of the area prefects, FMT conducted a full-day programme at the invitation of the Principal of Weliweriya Kanishta Vidyalaya.
Scholarships and Educational Support
Education
Continuing our commitment to education, we awarded Rs. 110,000 worth of scholarships and book vouchers to 11 deserving students in Arakawila in February 2025. Similar scholarship programs were also implemented in 2023 and 2024 to support academically talented students.
Empowering Youth through Team Building
Sports Development
Through FMT, we supported the First XI Cricket Team of Taxila Central College for the third consecutive year by organizing a paintball-based outdoor training program in April 2024. This unique initiative strengthens leadership, teamwork, and strategic thinking in young athletes.
Donation to Sri Jinarathana Temple, Arakawila
Community Development
Donated paint buckets to help rejuvenate and preserve the temple's cultural and spiritual environment, enhancing the experience for the community.
School Essentials for Udagama Junior School Students
Education
Supplied school bags, books, and essentials to new grade one students, encouraging them to begin their educational journey with confidence.
Plastic Recycling Program
Environmental
Initiated a community recycling drive offering Rs. 2 discounts per plastic item returned. The program actively promotes eco-conscious behavior and has earned recognition as a certified recycling-friendly initiative.
Scholarships for G.C.E. A/L Students in Arakawila
Education
Awarded over Rs. 100,000 in scholarships and gift vouchers to high-performing A/L students, supporting their transition into higher education.
Recognition of Top A/L Achievers
Education
Rewarded 13 students who excelled in the 2021 G.C.E. A/L exam with cash prizes and book vouchers at a ceremony hosted in Arakawila.
Donation of Rare Plants to Arakawila Residents

Distributed over 100 rare and valuable plant species to promote biodiversity and sustainable living in the community.

Healthcare
Donated Rs. 500,000 worth of critical medical and surgical supplies to enhance cancer treatment capabilities.

Donated port catheters and essential supplies valued at Rs. 500,000, directly aiding the treatment of cancer patients.
COVID-19 Relief for Families in Pannipitiya
Community Relief
Provided essential goods to five underprivileged families during the pandemic, helping them recover during a time of crisis.
Educational Infrastructure for Udagama Kanishta Vidyalaya
Education
Delivered desks, chairs, and undergarments to support children's education and hygiene needs in a rural school.

Carried out multiple donation and cleaning programs to improve the surgical theater and patient environment.
Scholarships for Children of Fallen Soldiers
National Service
